The Gal Behind the Blog:

Hi There! I am Nichole! I am 27 years old (almost 28) and I am married for almost 5 years (June 2012) to David. We are currently trying to get pregnant with our first baby, and we have one orange fur baby,sam. We live in North Carolina, USA.
My husband is a heavy equipment operator at a rock quarry and I currently stay at home and do all that housewifey stuff like cooking and cleaning. I also use my blog to help us out with various bills and goodies that we want!

I have a background in: Elementary Education with a English/Language Arts/Grammar concentration and  Medical Office Administration (degree) (coding, billing,medical terms).

Site History:

I started “blogging” back in 1999 with a page about the soap opera Another world.  My first dedicated to ME blog hit the webs in 2002 and lasted way into 2005 until I took it down due to a very nosey boyfriend!

Autumn Rain took root as my site in 2007 in the form of a free wordpress blog that was called Digitally Nichole. I decided to branch out and by the domain in May of 2010. So though this domain name is only shy of 2 years old…basically this site is closer to 5!

Autumn Rain is my PERSONAL site and I do not really fit into any particular niche, as I blog about many different topics.I blog about everything from a personal level, and try to include a piece of me in everything I write. I not only write about my day to day ramblings but I try to write about different things on my mind in relationship to many topics including blogging,couponing,etc.

I have done many reviews on this site for many different companies. I am in the process of putting them into this category: Reviews (click to see posts)

What I accept:

I accept reviews for many different types of products including: software, home goods, mommy to be goods,  cat goodies, etc. I only accept reviews for items that I feel are items that I can 1. really use or 2. really want. that way there are more opportunities for other bloggers to review items. In other words, i’m not just in it for the “free” goodies!
